GroupOS makes it easy to run events from start to finish — whether you're hosting a mastermind session, a summit, or a casual member meetup.

This module gives you all the tools you need to plan, promote, and manage events seamlessly, while staying connected with your attendees every step of the way.

Getting Started

To create a new event:

  • Go to your Events dashboard

  • Click Create Event

  • Add key event details:

    • Title, description, and location (physical or virtual) — How to Add Location

    • Start/end date and time

    • Event type: In-Person, Virtual

    • Upload banner and thumbnail images

    • Set visibility: Show the event to everyone, or restrict it to a specific group or plan

Once published, your event will appear in the Events tab and can be promoted throughout your community.

Tickets & Registration

You can sell tickets, collect payments, and track registrations — all within GroupOS.

Here’s what you can set:

  • Ticket types: Free, paid, invite-only, or member-restricted — How to Create Ticket

  • Custom pricing: Early bird, VIP, discount codes

  • Add-ons: Offer extra purchases like backstage access, merch, or premium seating

  • Checkout: Customize forms to collect attendee info, preferences, or data

  • Revenue tracking: See sales and conversion insights in real time

Promote your event right inside your community:

  • Post updates in the Newsfeed

  • Use Banners or Featured slots for visibility

  • Send in-app notifications to key groups or attendees

  • Add partner banners, updates, or exhibitor highlights

  • Share the agenda and spotlight key speakers
