Video Analytics: Track Engagement & Understand Your Audience

Want to know how your videos are performing?

GroupOS provides you with powerful analytics, allowing you to see what resonates, what needs improvement, and how your audience interacts with your content.

You’ll find a full set of insights across every video in your library—and even better, you can download user activity to get the complete picture.

What You Can Track

Here’s what you get with GroupOS Video Analytics:

1. Views

Track how many times a video has been played.

This includes total plays, whether from the video page, newsfeed, or anywhere else the video appears. It helps you gauge the overall reach of your content.

2. Unique Views

See how many individual users have watched your video.

This gives you a clearer view of how wide your audience really is, as it removes repeat views from the same person.

3. Likes & Dislikes

Audience sentiment matters.

See how many members liked or disliked your video to understand their reaction at a glance. It’s a simple, honest feedback loop.

4. Comments

Track how many comments your video has received, read what people are saying, and respond to them directly.

Great for sparking discussions or collecting feedback.

  • You can download the list of users who commented, along with timestamps and comment text.

5. Watch History

See who watched your video, and how many times. This lets you track returning viewers or see how many people watched it through to the end.

  • You can export a full watch history report by user.

Filter by Time & Content

You’re in control. Use filters to drill down into the data:

  • Set a date range (daily, weekly, monthly, custom)

  • View specific videos or your entire library

  • Filter by category, tag, or speaker

  • Segment by event videos or regular content

You can also compare the performance between two or more videos to see which format or topic performed better.
