How to Add a Partner

Written by Doina Chilat

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for adding and configuring a new partner within the app's Partner Settings dashboard.

Whether you're offering exclusive perks, showcasing collaborations, or adding trusted resources, this is the space to do it.

1. Select Offer Type

At the top of the Partner details section, click the toggle button to define the partnership track:

  • Offer: Select this option if the partner has a specific, tangible promotion or deal to showcase.

  • Perk: Select this option if the partner provides a general baseline value or ongoing access but lacks a specific, distinct offer.

2. Enter Partner Name

Type the company's official name into the Partner name * field.

3. Upload Thumbnails

  • Thumbnail image: 1080 x 608 px
This is the preview image shown on the partner list and on their page.

  • Upload Logo (for light and dark backgrounds): 564 x 216 px on a transparent background
This ensures the logo looks clean and professional in any theme.

  • Upload Banners:

    • Web banner: 2976 x 576 px
A wide-format image for web users, typically used for branding or promotion.

    • Mobile banner: 780 x 200 px
Optimized for smaller screens: this ensures the partner profile looks great on mobile too.

4. Write Short Description

Write one short sentence that explains what the company does.

This shows up in quick previews or search results, giving users a fast summary.

5. Add a Full Description

Here’s where you can go into detail. You can:

  • Highlight key services or offers

  • Tell the story of the partner

  • Add media like images, videos, and links

This section builds trust and gives users a full understanding of what the partner brings to the table.

6. Define Offer Value

Type the reward or discount structure into the Offer value * field.

  • Character limit: Maximum 50 characters.

⚠️ Enter the value exactly as provided by the partner (e.g., "$500 off" or "20% discount"). If it is an abstract value or percentage, do not attempt to calculate or adjust it. Input the raw text.

7. Add Offer Description

Fill out the Offer description block with a brief, clear summary detailing exactly what products, services, or plans the promotion covers. Keep this short and highly scannable.

8. Set Offer Instructions

Write step-by-step guidance in the Offer instruction block to tell users exactly how to claim, redeem, or copy a code to use the offer successfully.

9. Fill in Company Contact Info

Complete the operational contact data points in the provided form fields:

  • Contact name: Enter the main point of contact or account manager (e.g., the CEO).

  • Phone number: Enter the partner's corporate contact number.

  • Email: Enter the direct business email address.

  • Website: Insert the link to the partner's official homepage.

  • Facebook: Provide the URL to the partner's official Facebook page.

  • LinkedIn: Provide the URL to the partner's official LinkedIn company page.

It makes it easy for members to follow up or connect with partners directly.

10. Set Discovery

Optimize how members locate the partner profile within app listings:

11. Set Visibility

Control who can see this partner.

Under Rules, choose the User access level:

  • All – Every member of the community can access the partner

  • Restricted – Only selected users. When chosen, additional filters appear:

    • Select Plans – Restrict by membership plan

    • Select Tags – Restrict by assigned tags

    • Select Users – Add individuals manually by email (separate with commas, spaces, or newlines)

    • Import via Excel – Bulk-import a list of authorized users from a spreadsheet

Want to see who qualifies? Click Preview at the bottom to review your audience, or export the list.

13. Save or Publish

  • Create Partner – to make it live

  • Save as Draft – if you’re not ready yet

You can prepare the profile in advance and return to finish it anytime.

That’s it! You’ve now added a full-featured partner profile to your community.
