Inviting your first members is an exciting step, but before you start, there are two key things to set up.

Before You Invite Anyone

1. Connect Your Stripe Account

Before sending your first invite, you need to connect a Stripe account to enable membership payments.

2. Create a Membership Plan

Once Stripe is connected, set up your first membership plan. This includes access rules, pricing (if applicable), and what content each plan can see.

Inside each membership plan, you’ll choose which modules (Documents, Events, Videos, etc.) members should access.

This ensures that from day one, each person only sees what’s relevant to them.

Ready to Invite? Here’s How

Step 1: Go to the Members Section

From your Admin Panel, click on Audience, and go to Invited Members in the sidebar. This is where all your member management takes place.

You have 2 Invite Options:

  • Invite by Email

Manually invite individuals using their email addresses.

  1. Enter email address

  2. Choose which membership plan(s) will be visible to this member

  3. Click Send Invite

  • Bulk Import via Excel

Perfect if you have a large list of members.

  1. Download the Excel template provided

  2. Fill out the required fields

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Email

    • Membership plan

  3. Upload the file

  4. Review and click Import

Step 2: Send the Invites

After reviewing everything, click Send Invites. GroupOS will send out an email to each person with a link to join your community.

What Happens Next?

Each invited member will:

  • Receive a custom join link

  • Activate their account

  • Be automatically added to their assigned plan

  • Get access to the features and content based on your plan settings

Need to Follow Up?

From the Members section, you can:

  • View who has joined

  • Resend invites to those who haven’t

  • Cancel pending invites if needed

By completing these steps, you’re all set to welcome your first members and give them a smooth onboarding experience.
